The High Anti-Corruption Court set Stolar's bail at 300 million hryvnias

The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a preventive measure on Vadym Stolar, a member of parliament and a defendant in the “Themis” case. The court set bail at 300 million hryvnias.

Last week, Stolar was notified of the charges against him in absentia. Among the offenses he is accused of is interfering with information systems while martial law was in effect.

According to investigators, Stolar, together with former MP Maksym Mykytas, led a criminal organization. Its members are accused of planning hostile takeovers of companies and buildings in Kyiv, hacking into state registries, and bribing law enforcement officials and judges.

The decision on the preventive measure was issued by the High Anti-Corruption Court.

Incidentally, the High Anti-Corruption Court is determining a preventive measure for former People’s Deputy Maksym Mykytas in a new case involving NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). 

Iryna Mudra has been detained and is currently undergoing investigative procedures at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
