The High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing in the Tymoshenko case for June 16
The High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a preliminary hearing in the case of Yulia Tymoshenko, a member of parliament and leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, for June 16, 2026.
This was reported by the High Anti-Corruption Court.
“The High Anti-Corruption Court has received an indictment charging a Member of Parliament of Ukraine, who is the leader of a parliamentary faction, with committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the statement reads.
The preliminary hearing will take place on June 16 at 12:00 p.m. at the court building on Beresteiskyi Avenue in Kyiv.
In January, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) notified Yulia Tymoshenko that she was suspected of offering unlawful benefits to members of parliament.
Following this, the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure on her in the form of bail set at 33 million hryvnias. The full amount was subsequently paid.
The court also seized some of Tymoshenko’s and her husband Oleksandr Tymoshenko’s property. Among the seized items were a Toyota Land Cruiser 200, an Audi A8, and two garages in Dnipro.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) concluded their investigation into the case involving the alleged bribery of members of parliament by Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivshchyna party, and made the case materials available to the defense prior to the trial. The parliamentarian herself did not appear for the review.
As a reminder, the court lifted the seizure of some of Yulia Tymoshenko’s and her husband’s property.
