The High Anti-Corruption Court will review the complaint regarding sanctions against Mindich under a simplified procedure
The Cassation Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider businessman Timur Mindich’s appeal against the sanctions imposed on him under a simplified procedure. The panel of judges issued the corresponding ruling on September 21.
Mindich’s defense attorney, Andriy Kostenyuk, insisted on a full trial due to the complexity of the case and the need to question witnesses; but representatives of the President of Ukraine, Lyudmyla Pantyukhova; the Ministry of Economy, Yevhen Koloda; and the Ministry of Justice, Oleksiy Shuvkun, objected to the motion. As a result, the court adjourned the hearing until November 5 to give the defendants time to review the expanded list of evidence, which the defense had requested be produced again.

A motion to impose sanctions against businessmen Timur Mindich and Boris Zuckerman was approved at a government meeting and forwarded to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine for consideration.
A standard sanctions package has been imposed against Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zuckerman for a period of three years, while the revocation of their state awards is indefinite.
