The Supreme Court did not conduct any investigations into Judges Dashutin and Rogach

The Supreme Court did not conduct internal investigations into Judges Igor Dashutin and Larisa Rogach in connection with reports regarding the NABU operation “Themis.” This is stated in the Supreme Court’s response to an inquiry.

The court explained that the Supreme Court does not have the authority to determine the scope of pretrial investigation information that may be made public, establish or confirm the circumstances of the relevant criminal proceedings, or assess the procedural actions of pre-trial investigation authorities.

For these same reasons, the Supreme Court cannot assess the assumptions raised in the inquiry regarding a possible connection between the relevant circumstances and the criminal proceedings reported by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine as part of Operation “Themis.”

As of the date this response was received, Dashutin and Rogach continue to administer justice in their respective positions, according to CENSOR.

As a reminder, the High Anti-Corruption Court recently convicted a relative of People’s Deputy Goncharenko.

The actions and financial status of former Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Verbytskyi warrant a thorough investigation by anti-corruption authorities. This opinion was expressed by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission, in an interview with UA.News.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) announced a special operation to expose a criminal organization in which current and former Members of Parliament of Ukraine, high-ranking officials from the Office of the President, and other individuals may be involved.
