Viatrovich stated that historical disputes with Ukraine are harmful to Poland itself
People's Deputy and historian Volodymyr Viatrovych stated that the current tensions in Volodymyr Viatrovych
According to him, Ukraine’s actions regarding historical memory have not changed the position of certain Polish politicians but have only intensified their rhetoric. At the same time, he noted that signs of a shift in public sentiment are already emerging in Poland, particularly thanks to statements by Catholic bishops, “Solidarity” veterans, and Polish journalists.
Viatrovych emphasized that Poland’s focus on historical disputes is distancing it from important contemporary security processes in Europe, whereas Kyiv and Warsaw should be key partners in shaping a new security architecture.

As a reminder, the U.S. will provide Poland with a $2 billion loan to purchase weapons: F-35 fighter jets, Patriot air defense missile systems, and Abrams tanks.
Earlier, Poland signed an agreement with the U.S. for the delivery of 96 AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters, along with a logistics and training package, for a total of $10 billion.
