Video: Rescuers in Rivne Oblast Rescued a Dog from a 15-meter-deep well

In the Dubno District of the Rivne Region, employees of the State Emergency Service carried out a successful rescue operation to save a pet that had found itself in a deadly trap.

Rescuers were able to quickly retrieve a dog that had accidentally fallen to the bottom of a deep, abandoned well

The incident occurred in an open area near the village of Milcha in the Povchanska rural community.

The four-legged pet found itself at the very bottom of a dry well about 15 meters deep and had no way of getting out on its own without outside help.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the dog’s owners immediately called the on-duty State Emergency Service (SES) team to the scene.

The rescue operation was significantly complicated by the specific conditions, as there was a real and high risk of a sudden collapse of the old soil inside the well.

Despite the danger, one of the specialists used special mountaineering equipment to descend to a considerable depth to free the trapped dog.

The rescuers carefully secured the frightened dog and successfully brought him to the surface, where his anxious owners were already waiting for him.
