Video: NABU and SAPO Release Wiretap Recordings as Part of the "Forest Gump" Anti-Corruption Operation
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office are conducting a special operation called “Forest Gump.” Law enforcement officials announced the dismantling of a criminal organization which, according to the investigation, operated under the leadership of current and former members of the Ukrainian Parliament.
According to preliminary information, the organization also included high-ranking officials from the Office of the President of Ukraine and other individuals. This was reported by anti-corruption authorities.
As part of the operation, NABU and the SAPO released a short video featuring excerpts from wiretapped conversations and other investigative materials. The recordings are intended to illustrate specific instances of the suspects’ activities.
Law enforcement officials are not currently disclosing all details of the investigation or providing a complete list of individuals who may be involved in the organization’s activities.
