Zelenskyy called the strike on the Coca-Cola plant a clear message from Russia to the U.S.
On the evening of September 3, Russia attacked a Coca-Cola plant in the village of Velyka Dymerka in the Kyiv region with “Shahed”-type strike drones, causing a fire at the facility. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this in an evening address, emphasizing that the occupiers deliberately targeted the American company in an attempt to undermine civilian life and damage the economy.
The head of state stressed that Russia could not have been unaware of the facility’s ownership and called the destruction of one of Europe’s largest soft drink production facilities a clear signal from Russia to America. Throughout the day, the Kyiv region came under a massive attack by enemy drones, including jet-powered ones.
