Video: A fire broke out at a three-story hotel in Bukovel
On the evening of August 25, a three-story wooden hotel with an attic caught fire in the village of Polyanytsia in the Bukovel area; the fire engulfed the roof and floors over an area of approximately 225 square meters. Thirty-one firefighters and 12 pieces of equipment were deployed to extinguish the blaze; according to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
The fire department received a report of the fire on August 25 at 9:27 p.m. The fire engulfed the roof and floors of the building, and the area affected by the fire was approximately 225 m².
A total of 31 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment were deployed to respond to the emergency, including 23 rescuers from the State Emergency Service, units from the local fire department, and the firefighting team from Bukovel LLC. A community rescue officer and police officers were also on the scene.
According to preliminary information from the State Emergency Service, no one was injured in the incident. Firefighting operations are currently underway, and the circumstances and causes of the fire are being investigated.
