Bail has already begun to be posted for Iryna Mudra

A portion of the bail set by the court at 20 million hryvnias has already been posted on behalf of Iryna Mudra, the former deputy head of the Office of the President. This information became public on August 26. 

 

Her attorney, Artem Krykun-Trush, told Suspilne that the funds are being contributed by several guarantors, though he did not specify the exact amount.

Earlier, Mudra explained how she would raise the 20 million hryvnias for bail. Former Deputy Head of the Office of the President Olena Mudra stated that she would try to raise 20 million hryvnias to post bail and secure her release from custody.

Prior to this, former Deputy Head of the Office of the President Mudra was taken into custody with bail set at 20 million hryvnias. On Tuesday, August 25, the High Anti-Corruption Court remanded Iryna Mudra in custody for 60 days, setting bail at 20 million hryvnias as an alternative.
