Video: Zelenskyy Arrives at the Front Lines with Drapaty
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapati, arrived in the Oleksandrivka sector, where the Defense Forces are conducting an offensive operation.
Zelenskyy met with soldiers from the 80th Separate Galician Airborne Assault Brigade, thanked them for their service, and presented them with state awards.
During the meeting with commanders, they discussed the units’ needs, particularly the provision of drones, long-range artillery, and small radar stations. They also discussed direct funding for the brigades and the Special Forces, as well as the training and incentives for military personnel.
The offensive operation in this sector has been ongoing since January 29. According to the Joint Forces Command, Ukrainian forces have already regained control of more than 745 square kilometers of territory and 26 settlements across three regions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the congratulations from Polish President Karol Nawrocki on the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. He specifically thanked the Polish leader for his wishes for Ukraine’s victory and emphasized that Kyiv wants to continue developing relations with Warsaw.
