A preventive measure is being determined for Military Intelligence Chief Ivanov in the shooting case
On September 4, a pretrial measure will be determined for Serhiy Ivanov, a serviceman with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, in connection with the shooting incident in Kyiv. The incident, involving personnel from the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service of Ukraine, occurred on September 1, and several dozen men wearing balaclavas gathered outside the courthouse.
Ivanov is suspected of attempting to take the life of a law enforcement officer.
At the same time, prosecutors requested that the hearing be held behind closed doors. The judge granted this motion.
