Zelenskyy announced changes to the format of the National Multidisciplinary Test
During the Fifth Ukrainian Youth Forum, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the format of the national multi-subject test needs to be changed. According to him, the current exam process places a significant psychological burden on applicants and their parents due to its length, excessive intensity, and technical difficulties—including the fact that the exam took place over many hours in Odesa amid air raid alerts.
The government, together with the Ministry of Education and the Office of the President, has been tasked with preparing updated rules for next year. Key proposals include conducting the test in specially equipped shelters to ensure the process is not interrupted by security threats, reducing the intensity of the exam, and allowing applicants the opportunity to retake it.

The Ministry of Education and Science has approved a new system and general criteria for assessing learning outcomes for students in general secondary education institutions. The document establishes uniform approaches to assessment regardless of the form of instruction and provides for restrictions on access to information about students’ academic performance.
