Zelenskyy appointed Mykhailo Semikin as head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, replacing Fedorov
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Ivan Fedorov from his position as head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
Deputy Head of the Administration Mykhailo Semikin has been appointed to temporarily serve as acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
The personnel decision regarding Ivan Fedorov is related to his new appointment.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Ivan Fedorov as head of the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Ukraine’s Infrastructure.
Fedorov previously headed the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and will now work in the field of infrastructure restoration and development in Ukraine.
Mykhailo Semikin was born on May 22, 1986, in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
From 2009 to 2016, he taught at the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University.
From 2016 to 2019, Semikin served as head of the culture department of the Melitopol City Council in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
From 2019 to 2022, he served as the administrative manager of the Executive Committee of the Melitopol City Council.
After that, from 2022 to 2024, Semikin served as deputy mayor for the activities of the executive bodies of the Melitopol City Council Executive Committee in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
On May 1, 2024, Mykhailo Semikin was appointed deputy head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
He will now temporarily serve as acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
The corresponding decrees No. 871/2026 and 872/2026 have been published on the website of the Head of State.
As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Ivan Fedorov from his position as head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration and appointed him head of the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Ukraine’s Infrastructure.
