Zelenskyy Appoints New Head of the SBU Special Operations Center
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Oleg Fedoriv as head of the Security Service of Ukraine’s Special Operations Center “A.” The head of state signed the corresponding decree on July 30.
Oleg Fedoriv is a brigadier general in the SBU, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, and a Hero of Ukraine. Prior to his appointment, he headed one of the departments of the Special Operations Center.
Zelenskyy also appointed Olena Voronova as head of the SBU’s Personnel Department and replaced the heads of the Security Service’s regional departments in a number of regions, including Zhytomyr, Lviv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Mykolaiv, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Kateryna Rudnyk as Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Ukraine. The government adopted the corresponding decree on July 27.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, replacing Oleksandr Syrskyi.
