Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Mykhailo Drapatiy, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; Oleg Apostol, Commander of the Airborne Assault Forces; and Volodymyr Horbatyuk, Deputy Chief of the General Staff.
During the meeting, they discussed the situation in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk sectors. According to the president, the Ukrainian military continues to effectively contain Russian forces and prevent the enemy from accomplishing its objectives.
The meeting participants paid special attention to the implementation of agreements with international partners regarding defense assistance. Among the priorities identified were strengthening air defense and fulfilling contracts for the production of all types of unmanned aerial vehicles.
They also discussed the combat situation in the Oleksandrivka sector, where units of the Airborne Assault Forces are carrying out missions.
Following the meeting, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine must not waste a single day in strengthening its defenses and meeting the needs of the military.

At this time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Office of the President, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not publicly commented on this parliamentary initiative.
