Zelenskyy spoke about new strikes on targets in Russia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine’s long-range strikes continue to yield results. According to him, in recent days, military logistics facilities near Moscow and in the Tambov Region, as well as targets in the Azov and Black Seas, have been struck.

The head of state also reported that the so-called “long-range sanctions” plan is being implemented on schedule. He thanked the Ukrainian military and special services for their operations.

In an evening address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy summarized the work of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and discussed the results of the latest long-range strikes on Russian military facilities.

According to the president, the Ukrainian military has once again successfully struck key targets that Russia was using to support its army. “First and foremost, I want to thank our soldiers for their precision: last night, our long-range strikes yielded significant results. We continue to respond to Russia in a fully justified manner to its war and its strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure,” Zelenskyy said. The president reported that this time, targets near Moscow and in the Tambov region were struck.

According to him, these were warehouses and logistics centers through which the Russian army received navigation equipment, components for drone production, and other materials needed to wage war. Ukrainian forces also struck another oil facility and targets in the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. “Our operation is important. There will be more—there will be more resources for mid-range strikes,” the head of state noted.

Separately, Zelenskyy commented on the implementation of Ukraine’s plan for so-called “long-range sanctions.” “The long-range sanctions plan is also being carried out quite steadily,” the president emphasized. He thanked all units participating in such operations, in particular the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the missile forces and artillery, as well as the Security Service of Ukraine.

At the end of his address, Zelenskyy reiterated that Ukraine has repeatedly offered Russia a diplomatic path to ending the war; however, he said, Moscow has refused every time. “Russia has long had the opportunity to turn to diplomacy and end its aggression. Just this year alone, we have approached Russia dozens of times with proposals to stop this war—and the only response has been refusals,” the president said.

According to Zelenskyy, international partners—including the United States, Turkey, and European and Arab countries—continue to work on organizing a potential meeting of leaders. At the same time, he emphasized that, at present, it is the Russian leadership’s unwillingness to end the war that remains the main obstacle to a peaceful settlement. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement in an evening address.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that new decisions regarding the Ukrainian army will be developed in the near future. According to him, this was preceded by consultations with military leadership and other officials.
