Zelenskyy has reported a critical shortage of missiles for the Patriot system

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the country currently needs missiles for the Patriot air defense systems more than the launchers themselves.

He made this statement in an interview with Dutch television.

According to the president, while air defense systems are important, the key problem is a shortage of missiles.

“We’re not talking about systems, we’re talking about missiles… sometimes the systems were left empty,” he noted.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the situation was particularly difficult this winter, but the situation on the front lines has improved compared to previous months.

He also added that he regularly visits the front lines and communicates with the military to understand their needs and boost morale.

Following the Russian attack, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he had instructed the Air Force commander to contact partners who had previously promised to provide missiles for the Patriot systems.

Zelenskyyannounced the news regarding the missiles for the Patriot systems following a conversation with the NATO Secretary General.
