Zelenskyy announced plans to step up cooperation with European partners

Ukraine is in constant contact with the U.S. and is preparing to actively cooperate with its European partners. The goal is to continue the negotiation process and strengthen security guarantees.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an evening address.

According to him, Ukraine is working separately with partners to move forward in negotiations and in ensuring security.

“Ukraine is in contact with the U.S. side—in constant contact at various levels. We are preparing very active work for the coming weeks with our European partners as well,” the Head of State said.

He also announced that on Monday, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov will deliver a detailed report on all agreements in the Middle East, the Gulf, and other countries in the region regarding Ukraine’s export of security capabilities.

“In fact, all partners view this as a success for Ukraine and speak of it—that Ukraine is truly enhancing security. There is interest in Asia regarding this, and the first agreements are already being worked out. This certainly strengthens Ukraine as well,” the President emphasized.

Rustem Umerov is currently in Ukraine, finalizing draft agreements.

Zelenskyy added that Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko gave a report today, and energy is the top priority in domestic affairs right now.

“It is very important that the power grid is functioning quite well: we have managed to increase generation. Thank you to everyone working to ensure this Easter is lit,” the President concluded.

Zelenskyy commented on the situation in Transnistria and the threats in the Vinnytsia region.

Zelenskyy awarded several cities the title of Hero City of Ukraine.

Ukraine has received new missiles for the Patriot system, according to Zelenskyy.

Air defense forces neutralized113 Russian drones; strikes were recorded in six locations.

Prior to this, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the “Krymskaya” oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation. A fire broke out there following the attack. Warehouses and military equipment in the occupied territories were also hit.
