Zelenskyy stated that negotiations regarding Ukraine cannot wait until the war in Iran ends

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that negotiations regarding Ukraine cannot be postponed due to the war in Iran.

CNN reports this.

According to the head of state, the U.S. is currently largely focused on the standoff with Iran, which is hindering progress in negotiations regarding Ukraine.

He noted that technical consultations are ongoing, but full-scale meetings are being held up.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine cannot wait: “Ukraine is not a ‘little later’.”

The president also said that the situation is affecting the supply of weapons, particularly missile defense systems, of which Kyiv is not receiving enough.

He stressed that international partners must address both crises simultaneously.

U.S. Special Envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner confirmed their intention to visit Ukraine, though a specific date for the visit has not yet been set. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Kyiv is awaiting their arrival and maintains constant dialogue with the U.S.

Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov reported that Ukraine is moving toward possible agreements with Russia. According to him, some progress has already been made, and a resolution to the war may not take long.
