Zheleznyak: Bail for Yermak could be posted as early as today
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that representatives from the legal community could post bail for former Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak as early as today. According to him, the relevant procedures are in their final stages.
“According to my information, bail for Yermak will be posted today. Various representatives from the legal community will serve as the source,” the lawmaker noted.
Meanwhile, journalist Mykhailo Tkach, citing sources in political circles, stated that “yesterday was the second day of an active search for someone to post bail for R2.”
“Among those who will pay the bulk of the bail may be lawyers from the Asters law firm or the firm itself. Yermak’s friends were also considered. In particular, Roza Tapanova is being mentioned,” he added.
As a reminder, the lawyer for Andriy Yermak, the former head of the President’s Office, stated that NABU detectives conducted three searches of his apartment.
It is also known that Yermak discussed the heads of NABU and SAPO with a “fortune-teller,” although he later said he had no connection to fortune-tellers.
The High Anti-Corruption Court partially upheld the motion filed by the SAPO prosecutor and imposed a preventive measure on Andriy Yermak in the form of 60 days of pretrial detention.
