Russia Suffered Further Equipment Losses
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army also lost a significant amount of military equipment. According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces destroyed or disabled four more Russian tanks. The total number of Russian tanks lost since the start of the full-scale war stands at 12,356. Russia also lost four armored combat vehicles. The total number of such losses has risen to 25,361 units.
The Russian army lost 56 artillery systems over the past day. The total number of such losses, according to the General Staff, now stands at 50,067 units. In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed or damaged three Russian multiple-launch rocket systems. The total losses of Russian MLRS systems amount to 2,146 units. Two more Russian air defense systems were lost over the past 24 hours. The total number of such losses has reached 1,659 units.
Significant losses of drones
Russian drones remain one of the largest categories in the daily summary. Over the past 24 hours, Russia lost 1,833 operational-tactical-level UAVs. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the total number of such losses, according to the Ukrainian General Staff, stands at 525,965 drones.
However, this does not mean that all of these drones were destroyed in the air. The report refers to total equipment losses, which the Ukrainian side counts according to its own methodology. Also, over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost 23 ground-based robotic systems. The total number of such losses stands at 2,695 units.
How Many Russian Aircraft and Helicopters Has Russia Lost?
Over the past day, the figures for Russian aviation losses have not changed. In total, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost 442 aircraft and 356 helicopters.
The report also shows no new losses of cruise missiles. The total number of such losses stands at 5,111 units. The figure for ships and boats remains at 35 units. Russia has also lost two submarines.
Russia Is Losing Ground Vehicles

Russian troops launched another attack on Ukraine on the evening of September 19. They used 138 drones in the strike. The attack continued throughout the night. Ukrainian air defense forces engaged enemy targets in the country’s airspace.
