The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Air Force destroyed a base used by Russian drone operators in Kotlyne

The Ukrainian Air Force carried out a precision strike on a base used by Russian drone operators in the village of Kotlyne in the Pokrovsk sector. After aerial reconnaissance identified the target and relayed the coordinates, Ukrainian Air Force fighter jets dropped GBU bombs and destroyed the enemy position.

The Ukrainian Air Force delivered a powerful strike against Russian military positions in the village of Kotlyne in the Pokrovsk sector. The target was a base for drone operators working along this section of the front line. According to available information, the enemy position was initially detected by aerial reconnaissance of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The coordinates were then relayed to the crews of Ukrainian Air Force fighter jets carrying out the combat mission.

To destroy the target, Ukrainian pilots used GBU aerial bombs. The strike was precise—the base for the Russian UAV operators was destroyed. According to a source, along with the shelter, the personnel stationed at the position were also eliminated. A video released online shows the moment of the strike and a powerful explosion. After the detonation, the shelter where the Russian military personnel were located was completely destroyed.

The video of the combat operation was published by one of the Ukrainian military pilots on his Telegram channel “Sunflower.” The footage captures the air bomb hitting its target and the aftermath of the strike on the enemy facility. “Aerial reconnaissance by the Defense Forces identified a base for Russian UAV operators and relayed its coordinates to the fighter crews of the Ukrainian Air Force,” the statement reads. “To destroy the target, the pilots used GBU-type aerial bombs. As a result of the precision strike, the Russian UAV operators’ base was destroyed along with the personnel,” the statement notes.

The Pokrovsk sector remains one of the hottest spots on the front line. Russian troops are actively using drones for reconnaissance, artillery spotting, and attacks on Ukrainian positions. That is why destroying the bases of UAV operators significantly complicates the occupiers’ operations and weakens their capabilities on the battlefield.

No official information on the number of Russian soldiers killed has been released at this time. At the same time, the published footage confirms a precise strike and the complete destruction of the enemy position. This is shown in a video released by one of the Ukrainian pilots on his Telegram channel “Sunflower.”

The SBU intercepted a Russian document refuting the claim that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a Belarusian bus.

Belarus has claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were involved in the attack on a bus in the Bryansk region.
