A Russian attack left the Dergachi community without power

Russian troops struck an energy infrastructure facility in the Derhachi community in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the attack, the entire community lost power, and local authorities are already working to restore it.

Energy officials are currently assessing the extent of the damage. Due to the threat of further Russian strikes, the power supply situation may remain unstable.

Russian troops attacked one of the energy infrastructure facilities in the Derhachi community in Kharkiv Oblast. As a result of the strike, the entire community was left without electricity. This was reported by Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi City Military Administration. “Today, the Russians attacked one of the energy infrastructure facilities, as a result of which the Derhachi community was completely left without power,” he said.

According to Zadorenko, specialists are currently inspecting the damaged energy facility and assessing the extent of the damage. Only after that will it be possible to provide even a preliminary estimate of when power will be restored. The city council, together with specialists from JSC “Kharkivoblenergo,” is already working to restore power to community residents as quickly as possible.

However, authorities warn that due to the risk of further Russian attacks, the power supply situation may remain unstable in the near future. Due to the power outage in Derhachi, the water supply schedule for apartment buildings will also be adjusted. To this end, a backup water supply schedule will be implemented, which authorities promise to publish on the community’s official channels in the near future.

Local authorities are urging residents to follow official announcements and to be prepared for possible disruptions in electricity and water supply until emergency repair work is completed. This was announced by Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, on Telegram.
