A woman was killed and 34 people were injured in a massive Russian attack on Kyiv
On the night of May 24, Russian forces launched a massive combined attack on Kyiv, using ballistic missiles and attack drones. All districts of the capital came under fire.
This was reported by the Kyiv Police on Telegram.
According to preliminary data, one person was killed as a result of the attack—an elderly woman in the Shevchenkivskyi district. There are also reports of 34 casualties, including two children.
Residential buildings, administrative buildings, an educational institution, a service station, and vehicles were damaged. Hits and falling debris were recorded in various districts of the city.
The police stated:
“On the night of May 24, Russian troops once again carried out a massive combined strike on the capital, using ballistic missiles and attack drones. All districts of Kyiv came under enemy fire.”
Currently, investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, rescue workers, and medical personnel are on the scene. Law enforcement officials are documenting the consequences of yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation against the civilian population.
Information regarding the number of casualties and the extent of the damage is being clarified.
