Six people, including children, were injured in the Russian strike on Balakliya
On the night of June 16, Russian forces launched an attack on Balakliya in the Kharkiv region. At least six civilians, including two children, were injured in the attack.
According to preliminary reports, the enemy shelling targeted a residential area, the vicinity of apartment buildings, and a civilian enterprise.
As a result of the attack, four victims were hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical care. Medical personnel provided on-site treatment to two other people.
Information regarding possible additional casualties is currently being verified.
Rescue workers, medical personnel, and law enforcement officers are working at the sites of the strikes. Emergency services continue to address the aftermath of the shelling and document the damage caused.
Authorities are urging residents not to ignore air raid sirens, as the threat of new strikes by Russian occupation forces remains high.
