The Russian State Duma called for the open bombing of Ukrainian cities
Petr Tolstoy, Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma, called on Russia to openly launch strikes against Ukrainian cities in order to demoralize the population and force it to surrender.
He made this statement on a Russian propaganda talk show. Tolstoy suggested warning residents of Ukrainian cities about upcoming strikes a day in advance and giving them the opportunity to leave their towns.
According to him, the goal of such attacks should be to demoralize Ukrainians so that they would meet Russian troops “with their hands up.”
