The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has identified the main routes used by Russian drones to enter Ukraine

Most often, Russian drones enter Ukraine through the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. From time to time, enemy UAVs fly into the Kharkiv region, and recently they have also been spotted approaching from the southern regions, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on August 11.

Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, spoke about this on television.

“Most attempts by attack drones to enter Ukrainian airspace occur through the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The number of incursions through the Kharkiv region is also increasing periodically. However, the Chernihiv and Sumy regions are precisely the areas where our mobile fire teams, as well as military personnel carrying out missions along the border, have recorded the highest use of enemy drones. Recently, we have also observed fairly active use by the enemy of UAVs and their routes through the southern regions,” said Demchenko.

According to him, the mission of the mobile fire teams is to shoot down as many enemy UAVs as possible to prevent them from penetrating deeper into the country.

“Our task is to shoot them down as much as possible in the areas where they fly in, so that they cannot penetrate deep into our country’s territory en masse,” noted the State Border Guard Service spokesperson.

On the morning of August 11, a fire broke out at an industrial facility in Orsk, Orenburg Oblast, Russia. According to reports, the fire started following an attack. The facility produces about 30 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and lubricants.

As a reminder, a gas station and a facility were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Poltava region.

In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of an attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.

Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 soldiers.
