Interceptor drones shoot down about 50% of Shahed drones — Flash

The enemy will actively deploy "Shahed" rocket-powered drones against Ukraine, but Ukraine is already manufacturing interceptor drones to counter such attacks. According to "Flash," Ukrainian interceptor drones are currently shooting down about 50% of Russian Shahed-type strike UAVs.

"Back in the winter, it was 10%, then 20%, and now we’re seeing around 50%. That’s a very good result. I think that in the future we will see even more. And the Russians consider this a problem for them, because when it reaches 70-80%, the future of the standard gasoline-powered ‘Shahed’ will be in serious doubt,” he noted.

"Flash" added that the Russians produce "Shaheds" worth approximately $70–80 million, but only 10–20 of them actually hit their targets. Thus, he says, each hit costs $2–3 million, which is “absolute madness,” since a “Shahed” cannot cost as much as an “Iskander.”

Beskrestnov also noted that Russian occupiers will actively use "Shahed" drones against Ukraine, but we understand this and are manufacturing interceptors that will counter them.

Serhiy (Flash) Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, said this during a televised marathon, answering a question about how much the number of “Shaheds” shot down by our interceptor drones has increased.

Summer will be difficult for the occupiers due to strikes on their logistics — Flash.

The Russian army is already experiencing a shortage of personnel on the front lines — Gnativ.

The occupiers complain that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are cutting off the land corridor to Crimea with drones.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,020 Russian troops on the front lines over the past 24 hours.
