Drones have again attacked the Russian ports of Ust-Luga and Primorsk

On the night of March 27, the oil terminals in the Leningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation—Ust-Luga and Primorsk—were hit by a second drone attack. According to preliminary reports, this is the second strike on these facilities in recent days. Details regarding the consequences of the attack are currently being clarified.

Explosions were reported at the site of the attack. The sky there was lit up by a bright glow visible for tens of kilometers.

Both ports are the largest in the region and account for a significant share of the Russian Federation’s petroleum product exports.

It is also reported in one of the public groups that explosions were heard after 1 a.m. in the Vyborg, Kirov, and Kolpino districts of the region.

"According to preliminary data, about 20 aerial targets have already been shot down," Russian media reported.

It is also known that Pulkovo Airport has temporarily suspended passenger arrivals and departures for approximately two hours. No official information on the consequences of the attacks has been released yet.
