Video: Russia Launches an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile
Russia conducted a training and combat launch of a mobile-based solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile.
The missile was launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome toward the “Kura” test range in Kamchatka. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the training warheads reached the designated area.
According to the Russian ministry, the purpose of the launch was to test the tactical, technical, and flight characteristics of the missile system.
