The Special Forces thwarted the occupiers' assault on a gas pipeline in the Sumy region
In the Sumy region, Russian occupiers once again attempted to break through to Ukrainian military positions using a gas pipeline, but the attack failed.
This was reported by the 71st Separate Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Airborne Assault Forces.
According to the military, a group of six occupiers attempted to secretly approach Ukrainian positions but was detected while still on the approach.
The first invader was eliminated using an FPV drone, after which the group was targeted by artillery while they were in open terrain.
Those who survived the strikes tried to hide among the trees but were eliminated using other weapons, including a Vampire drone.
As a result, the assault was completely thwarted, and the entire group of invaders was eliminated.
Ukrainian military officials noted that similar enemy attempts have repeatedly ended in failure, despite loud claims of alleged “successes” in this area.
In frontline areas, the enemy is distributing fake leaflets containing threats of an offensive.
As a reminder, Russia is spreading a false claim that Ukraine is preparing provocations involving hazardous substances in the Donetsk region.
