Russian occupiers have begun using mock-ups of R60 missiles on "Shahed"-type drones. The enemy's goal is to intimidate the Ukrainian Air Force and draw the attention of interceptor units.
This was reported by Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, on Telegram.
“The Army Aviation knows how to respond to such things. However, we have many interceptor units across various branches of the military and agencies, and, of course, everyone will try to destroy such an ‘important’ target, regardless of resources. This is exactly what the enemy is counting on,” the message states.

According to Beskrestnov, there is now a need to develop methods for identifying “Shahed” drones equipped with fake missiles. He added that the enemy continues to improve its own drones, initially using borrowed technologies and then integrating Iranian developments.
As a reminder, Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces have neutralized 267 out of 289 drones used by Russian troops to attack the country since the evening of March 30.
The day before, Russian troops fired on the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast nearly 70 times throughout the day, using drones and artillery. As a result of the attacks, one person was killed, 12 others were wounded, and two of them are in critical condition.
