Today, June 30, Russian occupation forces carried out yet another attack on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in injuries to six civilians.
The enemy strike caused damage to infrastructure, but rescue workers were able to quickly extinguish the resulting fire.
According to updated information from the State Emergency Service, the strike hit an open area where debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle caught fire after the attack.
The blast wave caused significant damage to a two-story building and five passenger cars that were nearby.
A 48-year-old woman and three men aged 51, 54, and 67 were injured.
Shortly thereafter, it was reported that two more people had been injured: a man and a child. They were in a car at an intersection near the scene of the incident when the enemy attack took place.
The man was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds, and the child with a hematoma; however, according to reporters, the condition of both victims is not critical.
Specialized services are currently working at the scene; they have extinguished the fire and are continuing to survey the area.
Due to these operations and safety measures, the city council has decided to close Troitska Street to traffic—from Oleksandriiska Street to Soborny Avenue.
Initial information about the victims was provided by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
