On the night of May 13–14, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Kyiv, using ballistic missiles and attack drones. Several districts of the capital came under fire, and in the Darnytskyi district, a missile was reported to have struck a gas station belonging to the “BRSM-Nafta” chain.

This was reported by a UA.News correspondent on the ground. 

During the nighttime attack, explosions and damage were reported in:

  • the Shevchenkivskyi district;
  • Pecherskyi district;
  • the Darnytskyi district;
  • Dniprovskyi district;
  • Obolonskyi District;
  • Solomyanskyi District;
  • Desnianskyi District;
  • Svyatoshynskyi District;
  • Holosiivskyi District.

In the Darnytskyi district, a rocket struck a gas station belonging to the “BRSM-Nafta” chain. As a result of the strike, the gas station building sustained significant damage.

The Good Market store was completely destroyed, and the gas station’s equipment was damaged.

According to preliminary reports, one person was killed as a result of the rocket strike.

Rescue workers, medical personnel, and other emergency services were on the scene. The debris is being cleared, and the damage from the shelling is being assessed.

Kyiv city authorities have urged residents to pay close attention to air raid sirens, as Russian forces continue to strike civilian and critical infrastructure in the capital.

It is reported that the first person has already been rescued from the rubble. 

One of the longest air raid alerts in the capital has ended, lasting 7 hours and 52 minutes due to a massive enemy attack.

The State Emergency Service showed the aftermath of Russia’s massive attack on Kyiv

Defense forces shot down 41 missiles and 652 enemy drones

In the Odesa region, two people were injured and port infrastructure was damaged due to the Russian attack

In the Kyiv region, seven people were injured due to a Russian attack, including a three-year-old child
