Zelenskyy discussed European unity and support for Ukraine with Navrotsky
The President of Ukraine met with his Polish counterpart on the sidelines of the “Bucharest Nine” summit, where the main topic was coordinating efforts to end the war. Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with Karol Nawrocki the importance of maintaining unity between Europe and the U.S. in diplomatic efforts, receiving assurances of Poland’s continued support for Ukraine.

The leaders noted the strategic role of the “Bucharest Nine” in strengthening security on NATO’s eastern flank. During the talks, Zelenskyy thanked the Polish people for their comprehensive assistance since the start of Russia’s full-scale aggression and emphasized the constructive personal dialogue between the heads of state. The parties agreed that bilateral relations must remain strong and be based on the principles of good neighborliness.
Special attention was given to the diplomatic track, particularly the Ukrainian side’s contacts with representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump. Zelenskyy emphasized that transatlantic solidarity is a key factor in the process of achieving peace. Nawrocki, for his part, reaffirmed Warsaw’s unwavering position on defending Ukraine’s sovereignty.
