Zaporizhzhia plans to launch mobile gas stations in case of emergencies
In Zaporizhzhia, preparations are underway for the possible deployment of mobile gas stations in case the situation worsens due to Russian drone attacks on gas stations.
According to Fedorov, standard security measures have already been developed and distributed to gas stations, which include three key elements:
- passive protection for gas stations
- repair kits for rapid infrastructure restoration
- mobile gas stations for use in emergency situations
“Passive protection, which we need to install. Second, repair kits for rapid restoration. Third, in the event of a critical situation, we need to set up mobile fueling stations. We have communicated these three components to all gas station chains today,” Fedorov noted.
He added that, for the most part, these measures will be implemented at the expense of the fuel networks themselves, but the issue requires centralized government regulation.
Despite the risk of attacks, according to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the fuel situation in the region is stable.
“As of today, there is no fuel shortage in the city,” Fedorov said.
He also assured that the measures introduced will not affect fuel prices, as they are set centrally by the gas station chains.
This was stated by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, during a briefing on June 23.
As of June 23, 2026, Ukraine’s largest gas station chains have revised their fuel prices. The average price of A-95 gasoline is 75.98 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel is 79.61 UAH per liter.
As a reminder, as of June 19, 2026, Ukraine’s largest gas station chains had updated their fuel prices. The average price of A-95 gasoline was 76.07 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel was 82.33 UAH per liter.
