The General Staff has officially confirmed the destruction of the Moscow Oil Refinery and a number of the enemy's strategic targets
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has officially confirmed that, on the night of June 18, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of large-scale strikes against fuel, energy, and logistics facilities on Russian territory.
The main target of the cross-border strike was once again the Moscow Oil Refinery, which plays a key role in supplying fuel to Russian army units.
In addition, Ukrainian troops successfully destroyed key enemy transportation routes, significantly disrupting the logistics of the occupying forces.
According to official data from the military command, a large-scale disaster occurred as a result of the repeated strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery, which has an annual capacity of over 12 million metric tons of crude oil.
At least five hotspots of intense burning have been reported on the facility’s grounds. According to preliminary geolocation data, the fire has engulfed the integrated oil refining unit, secondary processing units, and the tank farm.
Meanwhile, in the Rostov region, the “Gukovo” oil depot—which was used by the occupiers to store and transship fuel and lubricants—was struck.
In parallel with the destruction of oil infrastructure, the Defense Forces targeted the invaders’ logistics hubs in southern and eastern Ukraine.
Our soldiers struck a road bridge across the Kalka River near the village of Granitne in Donetsk Oblast, as well as a railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal near Rozdolne in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In addition, an occupiers’ command post was successfully struck in the Soledar area of the Donetsk region, and large depots of logistical supplies and fuel were destroyed in Mariupol, P’yatipillia, and Boikivskyi.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also released the results of follow-up reconnaissance of previous operations, which confirm the colossal losses suffered by the Russian military-industrial complex.
