The General Staff has updated the Russian Federation's casualty figures and announced the elimination of 1,550 invaders

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to inflict significant losses on the Russian army. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 1,550 Russian soldiers were killed over the past 24 hours, along with a number of enemy vehicles and weapons.

 

As of June 5, Russia has lost the following in the war against Ukraine:

  • personnel – approximately 1,370,890 (+1,550) individuals;
  • tanks – 11,980 (+2) units;
  • armored combat vehicles – 24,684 (+8);
  • artillery systems – 43,315 (+68);
  • MLRS – 1,832 (+2) units;
  • air defense systems – 1,404 (+1);
  • aircraft – 436 (+0);
  • helicopters – 353 (+0);
  • ground-based robotic systems – 1,576 (+14) units;
  • operational-tactical UAVs – 329,772 (+2,046) units;
  • cruise missiles – 4,733 (+0) units;
  • ships/boats – 33 (+0) units;
  • submarines – 2 (+0) units;
  • Vehicles and tankers – 103,300 (+329) units;
  • special equipment – 4,250 (+2) units

Russia may announce another mobilization this fall amid the difficult situation on the Ukrainian front, the failure of the winter-spring offensive, and significant losses. This was stated by State Duma Deputy Andrei Gurulov, who linked the possible decision to Russia’s military setbacks in the war against Ukraine.
