The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded 251 combat engagements on the front lines over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, 251 clashes with Russian occupiers took place along the front line, with one-third of all attacks occurring in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
The overall intensity of hostilities in eastern and southern Ukraine remains extremely high.
“In total, 251 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours,” the General Staff reported.
According to updated information, the enemy carried out 100 airstrikes, dropping 292 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 9,293 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,248 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, including 38 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The Russian aggressor carried out powerful airstrikes in the Sumy region, particularly in the areas around the settlements of Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, and Chervonyi Pakhar. At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force delivered effective retaliatory strikes against the occupiers’ rear areas.
Ukrainian pilots struck two artillery systems, three drone control centers, four general command posts, and five areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
The most critical situation is currently observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where our defenders repelled 55 assault operations by the aggressor. Fighting took place in the areas of Rodynske, Nikanorivka, Ivanivka, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, and Udachne.
The enemy also actively advanced toward Vilne, Hannivka, Bilytske, Oleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Novohryshyne, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka.
The situation in the Huliaipole sector remains no less intense, with the occupiers carrying out 29 attacks.
Combat operations were recorded in the areas of Rybne, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, and Charivne. The invaders also attempted to break through toward Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Hirky, Novoselivka, and Huliaipil.
In the Orikhiv sector, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attempts to advance near Stepnogorsk, Shcherbakiv, Nova Tokmachka, and Charivne.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted 16 times to breach our defenses near Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Yampil, Ozerny, and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction, 14 assaults were recorded near Zakitne, Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out 14 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Mykolaipil, Vilne, Bilytske, and Kostiantynivka.
The lowest enemy activity was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction, where there was one attempt to dislodge Ukrainian troops in the Chasovyi Yar area. In the Kupiansk direction, two enemy attempts to advance toward Kupiansk Vuzlovyi were repelled.
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, four attacks were repelled near Staritsa, Okhrimivka, and Kindrashivka, and in the Dnipro sector, one futile attempt to break through near Bilohrudyi Island was thwarted.
No formation of offensive groups was detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
