Kadyrov improved his result in the Chechen presidential election to 99.85%
Ramzan Kadyrov won a record 99.85% of the vote in the so-called election for the head of Chechnya, according to the results of 100% of the ballots counted. This is confirmed by official data from the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
According to the published data, this is Kadyrov’s highest result to date: in 2016, he was credited with 97.94% of the vote, and in 2021, 99.7%. The officially announced figures for the Chechen leader are comparable to those in North Korea, where the Workers’ Party of Korea, led by Kim Jong-un, received 99.93% of the vote.

The three-day voting for 450 seats in the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, concluded on Sunday. According to the Russian Central Election Commission, voter turnout was close to 59.32%. CEC Chair Ella Pamfilova stated that the ruling party, “United Russia,” received 57.83% of the vote.
Thus, based on preliminary results, “United Russia” may secure a constitutional majority in the State Duma following the parliamentary elections. It could win 355 of the 450 seats.
