Map of Combat Operations as of July 6: 295 clashes occurred over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, on July 5, 295 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to repel the Russian offensive, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and military equipment.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, fired two missiles, and carried out 58 airstrikes, dropping 252 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 8,799 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,775 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 46 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck seven command posts and six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, three clashes with the enemy occurred over the past day; the aggressor carried out one airstrike, dropping one guided bomb, and fired 62 times at our troops’ positions and populated areas.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 15 times in the area of the settlements of Starytsia, Synelnykove, Artilne, Kudiivka, Vilcha, and toward Khatne, Izbytske, Zarubinka, and Shevyakivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked twice, toward Novoosynove and in the area of Kolisnykivka. In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted to breach our defenses nine times, attacking toward the settlements of Shyikivka, Stavky, Lyman, Druzhlyubivka, and Dibrova, as well as in the areas of Drobysheve and Novoselivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy launched 25 assaults toward the settlements of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka, as well as in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne. In the Kramatorsk sector, two clashes occurred in the Markove area and toward Tykhonivka. In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as toward Dovha Balka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 31 assaults by the aggressor in the areas around the settlements of Shakove, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Hryshyne, as well as toward the settlements of Vilne, Kucheriiv Yar, Novyi Donbas, Serhiivka, Shevchenko, Ivanivka, and Bilytske.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched seven attacks in the areas around the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Berezove, Ternove, and Ivanivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 38 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, and toward the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Huliaipole, Hirke, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, and Kosivtseve.

In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance toward Lukyanivske and Novodanilivka. In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations over the past day. In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups have been detected.

Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy the enemy and are putting up effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
In total, over the past day, the Russian invaders suffered 1,290 casualties. Additionally, seven tanks, nine armored fighting vehicles, 63 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, six ground-based robotic systems, 1,628 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 462 enemy vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a reminder, seven people were killed as a result of a massive strike on Kyiv.
Earlier, Zelenskyy warned that Russia was preparing a new massive strike.
It should also be noted that the Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. At that time, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—air-, ground-, and sea-based—of various types at Ukraine.
