China secretly trained Russian troops for the war in Ukraine – Reuters
The Chinese armed forces secretly trained Russian military personnel on their territory, and some of them have already returned to fight against Ukraine.
This was reported by the Reuters news agency. A corresponding bilingual agreement was signed by high-ranking officers in Beijing and provided for the training of about 200 people at facilities in Beijing and Nanjing.
The training covered areas such as drones, electronic warfare, army aviation, and armored infantry. The document strictly prohibited any media coverage of these visits or the disclosure of information to third parties. At the same time, the agreements provided for hundreds of Chinese military personnel to undergo similar training on Russian territory.
European intelligence services note that this step indicates a much more direct involvement of China in the war on the European continent. Despite a lack of significant combat experience, Beijing has provided Russia with advanced technological know-how and training methods in the field of UAVs. A significant portion of the trained Russians are high-ranking instructors, and some of them are already participating in combat operations in occupied Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia region.
