The company "Yagotynske for Children" has responded to the Russian Federation's attack on a factory in the Kyiv region
On the morning of June 5, Russian forces launched a drone strike on the “Yagotynske for Children” factory in the village of Zgurivka, Brovary District, Kyiv Region. Four factory workers were killed in the attack, and several others were injured.
According to the factory, the strike drones damaged the administrative building and part of the factory’s production facilities.
Four employees of the factory were killed in the Russian strike.
The company expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
“On behalf of the entire team, we express our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of our colleagues who have lost their dearest ones today. May the memory of those whose lives were so treacherously cut short by the enemy live on,” the company stated.
It is also reported that medical personnel are fighting to save the lives of the injured employees who are currently in hospitals.
The company has promised to fully cover the medical treatment and subsequent rehabilitation of the injured employees.
Despite significant damage, the company stated that it will not cease operations.
“We officially declare: the production of baby food will not stop. Our technical services are already assessing the extent of the damage, and restoration work will begin as soon as security services allow,” the company emphasized.
Currently, experts are assessing the consequences of the attack and preparing for restoration work.
The company emphasized that the “Yagotynske for Children” plant is exclusively a civilian food industry enterprise specializing in the production of dairy products for children.
“We emphasize that the ‘Yagotynske for Children’ plant is a purely civilian food industry facility. There is no military equipment or weaponry on the premises or in the vicinity of the facility. Only dairy products are manufactured here,” the company stated.
The attack once again demonstrated that Russian strikes are targeting Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, resulting in the deaths of civilian workers and the destruction of production facilities.
The company reported this, describing the start of the day as “deep pain and unspeakable rage.”
Four people were killed as a result of the Russian strike on the plant in the Brovary district.
In the Sumy region, two civilians were killed over the past day as a result of Russian strikes. Another 14 people sustained injuries of varying severity. The circumstances of the attacks and the extent of the damage are being clarified.
On the night of June 5, Russian forces once again attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. As a result of the enemy strike, a private residential building was destroyed, and one critical infrastructure facility was damaged. Relevant services are working at the sites of the strikes to address the aftermath of the attack.
