One in six of the occupiers' tanks was destroyed by fighters from the SBU's Alpha special forces unit, according to Budanov
During the full-scale war, the Security Service of Ukraine’s Special Operations Center “A” has inflicted significant losses on Russian forces, including the destruction of a large number of enemy vehicles.
According to him, the unit has to its credit the destruction of aircraft at Russian airfields, the blowing up of warehouses deep behind enemy lines, as well as significant losses among the occupiers’ armored vehicles.
“Today marks the 32nd anniversary of the SBU’s Special Operations Center ‘A.’ The work of the ‘Alpha’ fighters is best described by the cold, hard numbers of enemy losses: aircraft destroyed at Russian airfields, warehouses blown up deep behind enemy lines, and one in every six of the occupiers’ tanks destroyed. They fight with intelligence, technology, and character,” Budanov emphasized.
He also noted that these results are the product of extensive training, precise planning, and the discipline of the personnel.
“I thank the command and all personnel for their courage and loyalty to the motto ‘Life for the Motherland! Honor for no one!’ Return safely from every mission. Happy holiday,” he added.
This was stated by the head of the Office of the President, Kirill Budanov, on Telegram.
As a reminder, drone operators from the Active Operations Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed Russian trucks at the entrance to the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to intelligence reports as of June 23, these vehicles were providing military logistics support to Russian troops on the peninsula and in the southern sector.
As a reminder, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to completely halt the supply of food, fuel, and ammunition to Russian units on the Kinburn Spit.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 246 combat engagements on the front lines over the past 24 hours.
The Russians are attempting to break through on the Lyman and Kupiansk fronts, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
