Madyar: Since early May, the SBU has killed and wounded more than 6,000 Russians

Since early May, soldiers of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces have killed and wounded more than 6,000 Russian occupiers. The commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces announced this on May 20, noting the effectiveness of drone operations on the front lines and the high intensity of combat in this sector.

“19,203 units—the current total verified result on the Delta scoreboard—over the 19 days of May by all UAS forces (lagging behind the actual figure by 9–12% pending verification),” Madyar noted.

The SBS commander is convinced that during May 2026, it will be possible to eliminate over 30,000 Russian invaders (excluding artillery results, losses from direct combat, deep strikes, and an average of 18–20% unconfirmed casualties).

“The total result is projected to be 34,000+, which corresponds to the historical monthly replenishment of the enemy’s manpower.

Our own 10,000+ for May will traditionally be accounted for by the pilots of the SBS Group—let’s not get ahead of ourselves, even though the green stuff is getting in the way, and the infantry has slowed down a bit on the hot fronts (there are exceptions),” he added.

"Standard-10" stipulates that each strike crew of the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ UAVs must destroy/hit and confirm 10 Russian soldiers per month.

On Saturday, May 9, a Victory Day parade did take place in Moscow—albeit in a scaled-down version. Nothing particularly interesting happened: since a ceasefire was in effect during those days, there were no provocations, which the Kremlin had so feared. However, one of Putin’s statements still sparked a storm of reactions in the media: the Russian dictator declared that “the conflict with Ukraine is nearing its end.”
