Massive Russian attack: more than 50,000 residents of Odesa region left without electricity

Russia carried out a massive missile-and-drone strike on Odesa region, leaving tens of thousands of people without power.
This was reported by Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper on his Telegram channel.

Enemy munitions hit energy and civilian infrastructure facilities in the southern part of the region.
 

According to the regional governor, as a result of the attack more than 50,000 residents of the region were temporarily left without electricity. Energy workers immediately began emergency repair work to restore power to people’s homes as quickly as possible.
 

Kiper assured that specialists are making every effort to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.

As a result of the missile-and-drone attack, three residential buildings in the region were damaged. In addition, the enemy damaged warehouse and administrative premises, as well as passenger cars belonging to local residents.
The scale of the destruction is currently being assessed by specialists.

As a reminder, on February 3 the Russian army attacked critical infrastructure in Vinnytsia region, as a result of which about 50 settlements were left without electricity.
One person was injured during the nighttime attack by Russian forces on Kyiv.
As a result of massive shelling by Russian troops, the Izium and Balakliia communities in Kharkiv region lost power supply.
On the night of February 3, Russian occupiers attacked apartment buildings in the Sumy community, striking the Zarichnyi district.
On February 2 during the day, Russian troops struck Kharkiv with a combat drone, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram.
