A man was killed and others were injured in the Chernihiv region as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation
A 52-year-old man was killed and three other people were injured as a result of Russian attacks on the Chernihiv region.
“The air raid alert has been in effect for more than a day. In the Chernihiv region, Russian strikes claimed the life of one man, and three other people were injured,” Chaus reported.
According to the head of the regional military administration, the windows of a two-story building were damaged the previous morning when a Russian drone struck Horodnya.
In Nizhyn, Russian troops attacked using “Banderole” drones. The strike damaged residential buildings, cars, and a store. Rescuers extinguished the fire that broke out at the site of the attack.
In one of the villages in the Koryukivka district, an FPV drone struck a yard and damaged a minibus.
In the Semenivska community, a Russian FPV drone attacked a car. The 50-year-old driver sustained shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized. After receiving the necessary medical care, his condition allowed him to continue treatment. Later, the occupiers launched another strike, which damaged several vehicles.
In the Baturyn community of the Nizhyn district, a 52-year-old man from the Sumy region was killed as a result of a drone attack.
He was returning from a fishing trip with a friend when their car was damaged by debris from a Russian drone. The deceased’s friend was unharmed.
Late in the evening, Russian troops launched a “Geran” strike on a village in the Menska community. The attack damaged vehicles and windows of a private home.
Overnight, a Russian “Molniya”-type drone attacked the village of Novhorod in the Siverska community. The strike destroyed a car and injured two people—a 15-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy.
The girl was hospitalized. The 18-year-old boy is receiving outpatient treatment.
According to regional authorities, the air raid alert in Chernihiv Oblast has been in effect for over a day.
