Nearly 200 battles took place on the front lines over the past 24 hours, and the enemy launched more than 6,000 drones
Since the start of the day, 199 combat engagements have taken place along the front lines. The Russian army launched missile and air strikes, deployed more than 6,000 kamikaze drones, and fired on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas thousands of times.
The enemy carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, Huliaipole, and Southern Slobozhanshchyna sectors. Ukrainian defenders continue to repel the offensive and inflict significant losses on the occupiers.
Since the start of the day, Russian troops have engaged in 199 combat encounters. The occupiers carried out one missile strike, using eight missiles. They also conducted 54 airstrikes, during which they dropped 171 guided bombs. In addition, the Russian army deployed 6,076 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,041 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 49 shelling attacks, one of which involved the use of a multiple launch rocket system.
In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, Russian troops made 15 attempts to break through the defenses of Ukrainian units in the areas of Izbytske, Kutkivka, Khatne, Kozacha Lopana, Hoptivka, Radkivka, Vilcha, and Berezniki.
In the Kupiansk sector, the occupiers carried out one attack near Kolisnykivka.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled nine attempted advances near Novoselivka, Drobyshove, Novomykhailivka, as well as in the direction of Dibrova and Ozerny. As of this evening, three engagements were still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled 23 Russian attacks. The enemy attempted to advance toward Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Piskunivka, Mykolaivka, as well as in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers launched one attack toward Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopil, Stepanivka, and in the direction of Dovha Balka.
The Pokrovsk sector remained one of the hottest, with the Russian army carrying out 25 attacks. Fighting took place near Dorozhne, Hryshyne, Novopidhorodne, Rodynske, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, as well as in the direction of Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Myrne, Serhiivka, and Kucherove Yar. Three engagements are still ongoing.
According to preliminary data from the General Staff, it was in the Pokrovsk direction that Ukrainian forces eliminated 52 Russian occupiers and wounded another 23. The Defense Forces also destroyed a multiple-launch rocket system, vehicles, three pieces of specialized equipment, and an enemy fuel and lubricants depot.
In addition, four artillery systems, several vehicles and specialized vehicles, five drone control centers, and 172 personnel shelters were damaged. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or neutralized 219 drones of various types.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces launched two attacks toward Vorone.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 14 attacks near Kosivtseve, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, Hirke, and Vozdvizhivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attempted eight times to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Bilohirya, Shcherbakiv, Mali Shcherbakiv, and in the direction of Novoandriivka.
In the Dnipro sector, no offensive actions by Russian forces were recorded over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff noted that no significant changes in the operational situation occurred on other sections of the front. Ukrainian forces continue to repel the enemy’s advance and inflict losses on them. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
