Over the past 24 hours, there were 204 combat engagements on the front lines, with the heaviest fighting occurring in the Pokrovsk sector

Over the past 24 hours, on October 3, 204 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian occupiers were recorded along the front line, with the highest number of enemy attacks occurring in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its morning update as of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 4.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 65 airstrikes against Ukrainian positions and populated areas, using 233 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 9,090 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,465 shelling attacks. In the Sumy region, Ulanove, Mala Korchakivka, Sadky, Pysarivka, Ivolzhanske, Tovstodubove, Vilna Sloboda, Mogrytsia, and Khrapivshchyna came under artillery fire, while the Russians carried out airstrikes on Sumy and the Vakalyvka district.

In response, the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ air force, missile forces, and artillery struck one drone command post and one Russian military command post.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian invaders launched four attacks in the areas of Sadky, Ryzhivka, and Korenka.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Ukrainian units repelled 13 enemy attacks. The Russians attempted to advance in the areas of Dovhenke, Lyman, Radkivka, Zakharivka, Rybalchyne, Ivashchyne, Dovzhanka, and Chuhunivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian army launched four attacks in the areas of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk, and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks in the areas of Novoselivka, Karpivka, Novyi Mir, Lyman, and Dibrova. Attempts to advance have been halted.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian invaders carried out seven attacks in the areas of Mykolaivka, Ozernoye, Kryva Luka, and Yampil.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Yurkivka and Fedorivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 16 attacks were recorded. The Russian Federation’s army conducted assault operations in the areas of Raiske, Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Kindrativka, and Ivanopillia.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 31 attacks in the areas of Serhiivka, Molodetskyi, and toward Vilne, Kucherovyi Yar, Novyi Shakhovyi, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, Svitlyi, Bilytske, and Novohryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched three attacks toward the settlement of Ternove.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Huliaipole, Hirky, Vozdvizhivka, and Shyroke.

In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, Russian invaders did not conduct any active offensive operations over the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, the situation remained largely unchanged, and no signs of Russian offensive groupings were detected.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that as part of the “Vivaldi” counteroffensive operation, Ukrainian forces have already liberated between 125 and 140 square kilometers of territory.
